Customer Service Representative
A PVC Vent Screens’ customer service representative is responsible for handling pre-sales inquiries, accepting orders and ensuring that existing customer concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Being in direct communication with our customers requires that each customer service representative be able to speak clearly, represent the company while being courteous and respectful at all times and effectively manage communications that may be routed to various departments within the company (including management). The ideal customer service candidate must also possess strong computer skills that include a proficiency in working with spreadsheets, databases and an ability to learn to use specialized manufacturing centered software.
Warehouse Worker
Warehouse Workers are required to pull product (vent screens) and package them for delivery. Included duties include restocking shelves with completed product, using computers for inventory management, while also maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Please note that warehouse workers are required to be on their feet for most of the work day and must be physically able to lift 30lbs and occasionally use ladders to stock and pull product from elevated shelves.
Shipping and Receiving
Employees classified as shipping and receiving department workers will ensure that previously packaged products accurately represent what each customer ordered and at such time generate shipping labels.
Assemblyman
A PVC Vent Screens assembly classified employee is responsible for assembling each vent screen that we sell. Assemblymen are required to take directions directly from the lead machinist and must be able to work with abrasives, chemicals, hand tools and the small equipment that is used in the assembly process. An assemblyman is also responsible for maintaining tolerances and ensuring the quality of the products they are assembling meets the strict standards of PVC Vent Screens.
Machinist
PVC Vent Screens employs machinists to manufacture the components used to manufacture the vent screen products we sell. In addition to performing machining operations, which must hold extremely close tolerances using equipment such as lathes, presses and other equipment, the lead machinist is also responsible for managing the assembly process of each vent screen that leaves the shop floor.
