PVS Series Vent Screen Installation Video

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. So a video has to be worth even more. Because a video can actually demonstrate the process we use to install and remove PVC vent screens, we decided to film a thorough demonstration. In addition to the video on this page, you may also view a video on this page where we upgraded an existing furnace exhaust vent screen that had a wasp nest inside of it.

In the video below you can watch us install a PVS-RS3 rodent vent screen on a typical two inch PVC hub (elbow). Although the hub is not attached to a pipe, which would have actually made it easier to install the vent screen in this video, it does give us an opportunity to point out a few important areas of interest along with the installation and removal process.

Now that you’ve had an opportunity to watch the video above, you can see how easy it is to install one of our PVS-RS2 vent screens. The same installation process applies for our PVS-IS3 insect screen and other diameter PVS series vent screens for 2″ and 4″ ventilation systems. Whether you have a high efficiency horizontal venting furnace, a power vent hot water heater or boiler, you can rest assured that the installation and removal process of our vent screens is easily accomplished without any tools, materials or the need to drill termination hubs and permanently alter their appearance and effectiveness.

It is our hope that the video on this page answered all of your questions regarding the installation process of our PVS series PVC vent screens. If you have additional questions, please visit our installation instructions page for detailed step by step instructions or our FAQ page for answers to the most common general questions we receive.
