Shipping and Transit Time
After entering shipping information on our checkout page, customers will be presented with available shipping carrier options and service classes. All carriers use a zone based system to determine the cost of shipping, which is determined by the distance between our origin zip code (44039) and each customer’s destination zip code.
Below are additional details regarding each carrier option, which includes FedEx, UPS and the United States Postal Service, including USPS international shipments to Canada. Estimated transit time is also displayed on each carrier’s zone map, though these estimates do not take into consideration service disruptions.
Special Weather Notice
Due to extreme weather related events, carriers are unable to deliver to select regions. As a result of these closures, we have also temporarily suspended shipments to those regions which are reported as closed. We will begin shipping to regions that are now closed once carriers notify us delivery services have been restored.
Same Day Shipping
Orders shipping FedEx, UPS and USPS received before 2PM EST., Monday through Friday, are processed that same day. Orders placed after the cutoff time, or on a recognized holiday, will ship the next business day.
While every effort will be made to ship orders received before the cutoff time, carriers have limited our pickup days and times as a result of staffing related service disruptions. Therefore, please anticipate a handling time of one business day.
Order Processing on Holidays and Weekends
We may process orders on holidays and/or weekends. However, orders processed on holidays and weekends are not likely to ship until the next business day.
Carrier Delays
Shipping carriers, like many other businesses, are coping with staffing problems. Coupled with weather related events, delivery delays are more common with carriers in these unprecedented times. Because of these delays, we monitor all shipments and have posted carrier specific delay details below. In general, all carriers have greatly improved meeting their deliveries estimates, including USPS international shipments to Canada. As of 2/1/2023, both UPS and USPS are meeting delivery targets in most cases while FedEx continues to experience unexpected delays. International Priority Mail shipments to Canada often do not arrive any faster than First Class Mail, which is why we do not recommend the added cost of International Priority Mail unless required for shipments exceeding 4LBS.
