PVS-IS series insect screens install into existing vent termination hubs to guard high efficiency boiler, furnace and hot water heater vents during spring, summer and fall. PVS-IS series vent screens feature a 70% airflow rating and may be used on intake and condensing exhaust vents for protection from bees, wasps and rodents when seasonal temperatures are above freezing and insects are active.

• PVS-IS2 2″ vent screens fit inside a 2″ hub having an inside diameter of 2-3/8″.
• PVS-IS3 3″ vent screens fit inside a 3″ hub having an inside diameter of 3-1/2″.
• PVS-IS4 4″ vent screens fit inside a 4″ hub having an inside diameter of 4-1/2″.

Being vent screen inserts, PVS-IS series insect screens fit inside existing boiler, furnace and hot water heater vent termination hubs where they are not exposed to debris and precipitation on common horizontal (sidewall) hub terminations. In-hub fitment allows the vent screens to remain hidden from view and preserves the exterior visual appeal of the home or business when outdoor activity is at its greatest.

Those in regions that do not experience sub-freezing temperatures may use PVS-IS series vent screens all year. Those residing in regions that experience sub-freezing temperatures should use 90% airflow rated PVS-RS series rodent vent screens during winter to guard intake and exhaust vents from birds, chipmunks, mice, squirrels and other rodents.
